Roazhon has become the first city this Wednesday to ban radiators on the terraces of bars and restaurants in early 2020. “With the ecological challenge, we have to be an example in the use of public space,” said Deputy Mayor Marc Hervé. The agreement adopted in June reached a large majority.

According to the article published by La Vanguardia, there are many experts who agree with this ban and believe that other cities should take the same measure to prevent emissions that warm up the atmosphere and that the climate emergency is an example of action against what already exists.

The use of butane gas heaters can reduce up to 65% of the energy cost compared to electric heaters. The four butane cylinders, which run for eight hours a day, emit the same number as a car running 350 kilometers.
