Journey to the subconscious

Dreams can be classified into the set of phenomena we don't understand. Even though we don't understand them, they're so alive, so penetrating, so real. And how can we imagine dreams? The next morning we often don't remember the sleeping experiences, and when we wake up agitated, the subconscious trips we make a few seconds earlier also disappear under control.

The dance company Organik immerses us in the exciting and terrifying world of dreams. The plaza chosen to première the show Ondoloin is significant: Leioa Humor Fair. The festival has had its 24th edition, with about 80 performances from 41 companies around the world. Dance, circus, theatre… performing arts everywhere in the streets of Leioa; and, among them, Ondoloin of the company Organik. The performance, directed by Natalia Monge, has been interpreted by Dantzaris Ainara Bento and Iñigo Rementeria.

The town hall square is wet and some 50 spectators have been stacked on concrete stairs. The two protagonists of the performance standing in the center of the plaza. Music on the speakers and a single set element: two white pillows. The journey to the world of dreams begins at the rhythm of music.

The first movements are harmonic, smooth and paused. That is how the dreams of the protagonists will be. The dancers follow each other and every time they meet they join their bodies. Lethargy quiet.

In addition to a soft nap, you've imagined a fun dream. In perfect synchrony, we're immersed in a fun dream. A nice lethargy. With the eyes closed and the head held on the pillow, the dantzaris convey joy.

The sweet dream is suddenly interrupted. The threat comes, the nightmare comes. Guided by the punches of music, acting leads us to hell. One of the dantzaris releases the redhead motots and completely transforms their image. Imagine Burko's war. The dancers who were together now face each other. Complication, gait, crosstalk of gestures and facial expression change. Nightmares dance welcomes the stage.

And where does the nightmare take us? Get out of there. We want to wake up from the nightmare, run away. One word says one of the dancers: ‘Aita’. That is how action has begun. In sweet dreams dad and in dark dreams dad.
