The final of the Lady Prize will be held on 4 June in Leitza

What is the ‘Lady’s Prize’?

Bertsolaris and bertsolaris feminists celebrated last year the first Lady Prize with local agents and members of the feminist movement

in collaboration, "with the aim of creating new bertso seats and giving visibility to women and the underlying identities". The organization has stated that "its objective is to strengthen intergenerational alliances, in line with collective empowerment, taking into account territoriality".

Why the word “lady”? Maider Arrangi, bertsolari and organizer, explained that they wanted to turn the concept of loneliness and loneliness around: “A lady is a strong, empowered woman.”
