FERMIN MUGURUZA 40. ANNIVERSARY
When: 21 December.
Where: Bilbao in the Arena.

-------------------------------------------

Every year Bilbao will be on the 21st of December. The cider and talo, protagonists of the day, is the day of the fair of St. Thomas. This year, moreover, on Saturday. As if it were not enough, the city has received important cultural accompaniment: Second concert of the 40th anniversary tour of Fermin Muguruza, the first one he offered at the Atabal in Biarritz.

8,000 people have met at the Bilbao Arena to give a round end to the Azoka day. The environment is full of emotions and desire: “Where is the G door?” “I don’t see you, I’m here” “I’ve turned around!” The usual nerves and comedies expect to see Commander Muguruza.

The concert has started more punctual than punctual. He has chosen Maputxe to start the live and appeared on stage with the song Urrun: “Let the anti-fascist akelarre start.” Ten and a half years later, one of the most representative musicians in Euskal Herria hit the stage. With the announcement of the world tour, the singer wants to take a look at her 40 years of career. It's not an easy challenge.

For the review, Muguruza has carefully chosen the contestants: In the Gloria Maulet battery, in the Gerard Charlar 58 percussions and in the lower Victor Navarrete. On the other hand, the “winds of punk rock”: Jon Elizalde, Aritz Lonbide and Igor Ruiz fino. Xabi Solano, Lide Hernando y Matah.

On the runway there were a lot of people willing to dance, and on the stands there were a lot of people standing. Beer and kalimotxo in abundance and funny photo: Many young people around the age of 40 and many others who are excited about the unexpected opportunity to see what we haven't lived.

The musician presents a formula to turn his four-decade trajectory into a nearly three-hour program. A little bit of everything, and in the absence of them, I at least little: The Big Beñat has passed in the Korrika, Kortatu was clear that… There’s something here that goes wrong and they’ve always been on the front line. Leading international struggles: Yalah, Yalah, Ramallah! and Nicaragua Sandinista. A festive, ever-present atmosphere of demand: Dub Manifest, Gora herria, Kolore biziak… In total, I have read, 35 songs.

In addition to the musicians he has counted with throughout the concert, Muguruza has invited special collaborators. And we added another to the list of adjustments that we didn't expect us to live. The audience has been applauded by Kaki Arkarazo, Mikel Anesthesia and Mikel Abrego. And at all times it has appeared everywhere, as it could not otherwise be, brother and teammate Iñigo Muguruza.

At the end of the concert, Itziar Ituño “lehendakari” has risen to the stage. Kortatu Bursts, this is Sarri. And as Muguruza rightly said: “Many times after Patxi it seems you can’t sing anything.” Or yes. The musician made the last cry of the night: Hator, hator in tribute to the Basque prisoners.

After leaving behind the double Bilbao program, Muguruza will visit two other cities in the Basque Country: In June he will meet in Donostia-San Sebastian and in October the last sweat will be imposed in Pamplona. Meanwhile, let the anti-fascist akelarre continue.
