Errigora has carried out the eleventh campaign Euskarari Puzka between 24 October and 14 November, under the slogan ‘Agereko uzta euskarari puzka!’. The campaign wanted to place a special emphasis on the original idea of the campaign, which is the solidarity that must be conveyed to the Basque culture in central and southern Navarre. Thus, the campaign began in the city of Euskal Herria, in Bilbao, showing the support of the Euskaltzales of the area and encouraging the Euskaltzales here and there to join the giant Auzolan.
The Errigora network has worked and worked during the last month, and especially on campaign days. Proof of this is the 4,000 green baskets made up of 200 people who met on 9 November in Ablitas, or all those created in auzolan by producers.
“Since the end of the campaign, the members of Errigora have had time to pick up all the requests. In view of the results, we can say that this year’s campaign was one of Errigora’s best: Over 16,000 baskets will be used for Euskera in the area of ager (AEK, Ikastolak, Sortzen and Ageraldia). This amount is the largest that has ever been achieved through the baskets, so we have to celebrate it,” explains Errigora in a statement.
Errigora has stressed that behind these optimal results “it is clear that there is the potential and effort of an entire community.” “The success of this year’s campaign has been made possible by the strength of volunteers, producers and consumers who make up the community of Errigora. This is only possible thanks to auzolan!”
