Travel is a pilot programme organised by the Bertsolarism Fans Association, on its own initiative and in collaboration. Beyond the traditional bertsos square, its objective is to give the opportunity to other innovative performances and trials to sharpen and broaden the edges of the verses square formats.
Added to this is the experience of the Bertsozale Elkartea Association’s collaboration with improvised foreign songs. The performance will consist of an improvised song from Sardinia, which will be represented in the Sutegi Hall of Usurbil on 19 May from 19:00 and at the Sanagustin Cultural Centre of Azpeitia on 20 May at 22:00.

Tickets can be purchased for 5 euros on the www.bertsosarrerak.eus portal of the partner of the Bertsozale Elkartea Association and for 7 euros the non-member. Tickets may also be purchased at ticket office on the same day.

The Bidaiak project has received the Oreka subsidy from the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa.

The poetry show Improvisa An Antiga

Improvisa An Antiga is a poetry show produced by Tra Parola e Musica - Casa di Suoni e Racconti to be represented in Usurbil and Azpeitia. Adaptations will also be prepared in Corsica, Malta, Greece, Switzerland or Catalonia, taking advantage of the connections between improvised songs. It will come to our country by the Italian Txiki Association and the Bertsozale Association.

Through the word, music and images, a funny tribute is presented to Paolo Pillonca, the largest singer of the poetic contests of Sardinia Remunerdu Piras. In sardini and Basque, instant bertsos, bertsos writings of Piras and Basque bertsolaris, story, music and images will be combined in an hour and a half session.

The Sardines Dionigi Bitti and Giuseppe Porcu cantadori, the Tenore Murales de Orgosolo group and the bertsolaris Alaia Martin and Julio Soto, among others, will participate.
