Sanduzelai College Students Make a Kalejira Against Betting Houses
  • The 6th grade students of the public school San Jorge de Pamplona took a walk last Friday in collaboration with the anti-house betting group to alert them of the risks of pathological gambling. Several parents and neighbors also participated.

They've spent a month working on gambling in school, and with a kalejira, they've finished the project. However, further steps have been taken. They have sent a letter to the president of Navarra, María Chivite, to the mayor of Pamplona, Enrique Maya, and to the Football Federation to make them aware of the problem, which is hitting minors hard. Among other things, they call for the closure of betting houses and the withdrawal of ads promoting wagering.
