Repsol has earned €4.251 million in 2022, 70% more than in 2021. The increase in the price of energy has been accompanied by a significant increase in the profits of the gas and oil company. It is the biggest profit since 2010.

Repsol will increase shareholder pay by 11% by 2023, as indicated in October. Thus, it has depreciated 200 billion shares, which will affect 520,000 investors.

The wages of business leaders have also increased in 2022. In particular, Repsol CEO Josu Jon Imaz earned €4.13 million, 3.5% more than in 2021. The former president of the PNV has earned EUR 32 million since he was executive director of the oil company. For his part, President Antonio Brufau obtained EUR 2.81 million, 1.4% more than the previous year. The Repsol Board consists of 15 members who have increased their profits by EUR 11.67 million, with an increase of 13.3%.
