The Red Bull Cliff Diving was held in Bilbao on 30 June. While the professional saltators were heading in front of the estuary from the orientation platform to the Guggenheim museum, promoter Piztu Bilbo protested in front, on the Pedro Arrupe walkway. The action aimed to denounce the macro-initiatives such as the Red Bull Jumps and the neoliberal city model they drive, “evidencing that the wealth of a few leads to the misery of many”.

The Ertzaintza headed to the place where the action was taking place and identified eleven young people who were on the spot. According to the promoter, they were imposed the Moorish law and imposed the law of public disorder. In total, they face a fine of EUR 6,600.

“We know that there are different tools to deal with the Moorish law and on this occasion we have decided to appeal,” they said. Thus, on Wednesday, when the "legitimacy" of the fines will be judged, they focused on the courts in Bilbao.

“From Piztu Bilbo, we want to make it clear that in the face of repression we will not remain silent and we call to disobey this corrupt PNV city model that condemns us to misery,” said the agent.
