The agreement linked to the quota has been signed between the Basque Government and the Spanish Government for the next five years and, consequently, the PNV will support the Spanish Budgets. It has received criticism from opposition parties.

The Secretary General of the Basque Country, Nagua Alba Podemos, denounced that the nationalists had left a right of society “in the hands of a corrupt party” and assured that they had “enough margins” to force the PP to comply with the rights of Basque society.

Alberto Montero, spokesman for the Economy of the Podemos Parliament, denounces that the government of Mariano Rajoy has “bought” the jeltzales and that they “have not put obstacles”. “They understand plurinationality by hitting the checkbook,” he says.
