To abstention, yes, but not to the negotiating path. That is what the PSE said yesterday from Madrid. The Secretary of Organization of the Party, José Luis Ábalos, took the floor to announce that if María Chivite presents himself to the presidency of the Government of Navarra they will approve the abstentions of EH Bildu. That is essential if Chivite is to have access to the presidency, if he has the favourable votes of Geroa Bai, Podemos and Left-Ezkerra, which is the most voted formation. Ábalos insisted that there will be no negotiation with EH Bildu: "At the City Hall of Pamplona/Iruña we are not going to have our votes elect Joseba Asiron as mayor," he said.

The PSN met last week in Navarre with several political formations: GEROA Bai, with Podemos and Left-Ezkerra. In post-meeting statements, Ramón Alzórriz reiterated his desire to form a progressive government. However, these meetings are interrupted by the intention to set up municipalities first and by the continuation of negotiations with the political parties.

The City Council of Pamplona/Iruña will be set up on Saturday at 18:00 in the afternoon. Navarre Suma achieved thirteen seats on 26 May, EH Bildu seven, PSN five and Geroa Bai dos.

On the other hand, he has announced that he does not want the two votes of UPN in Congress for Pedro Sánchez to be invested head of the Spanish Government because he risks losing the six of the PNV.
