On 13 July, news has been released that The Guardian and El País, Roger Torrent's mobile, president of Parlament, were attacked by a Pegasus spy program. The phone of former Cup Member Anna Gabriel has also reported this attack, according to his lawyer, Olivier Peter.

In the public media on July 15, journalist Carlos Enrique Bayo has published an elaborate report in which he has presented many documents. According to information already published by this media in 2017, Eugenio Pino, Operational Director of the Spanish Police, and his chief of staff, José Ángel Fuentes Gago, did not use his email for this difficult task, but that of an official of the Internal Affairs Unit. Thus, through the email of this official named "Lionel", the Sprinter and InterApp programs designed by the Rayzone Group of Israel were purchased, which have subsequently been called Pegasus, with the following objective: "In order for the intelligence and law enforcement services to be able to intervene and record voice calls and written messages," the minister added.

Barajas Airport is the key

In 2017, in one of the emails published by Public, Israeli technicians were informed about access to the program: "In order to safely pass the material, you have to use the airport of Madrid and then transfer the material to Barcelona. For the hotel in Barcelona, no problems. Say how many people will come and for what day, and on what date."

At the time Carlos Salamanca was the Chief Commissioner of Barajas Airport. Salamanca was a partner and accomplice of Villarejo and is currently charged in the Tandem case, since it controlled all the security mechanisms of this airport and used them to commit crimes, among others, to facilitate the irregular entry of migrants.

In the same email it is understood that by then the purchase of these secret recording systems was already closed, as it specifies that the payments will be made on September 3.6 and 15, 2014. During the month of August, these spy phone systems were tested in Spain, according to another letter published by Público.
