PODCAST 2x9 | The “modern” camps opened by Europe for immigrants are the kingdom of leading technologies
- The new immigrant camp was opened on the Greek island of Samos, between applause and praise from the representatives of the European Union and the Greek Government. Athens has four other buildings of this kind, thanks to the EUR 276 million it has received from the European Union. Agents working for the rights of immigrants believe that these new camps are genuine “prisons”: by restricting links with the outside world to the maximum, permanent control of movements, led by police officers, security officers, as well as by the new cutting-edge technologies.
