In Naiz Irratia, Jon Fano, a member of the Bizkaia pensioner’s platform, spoke harshly against lehendakari Iñigo Urkullu for his refusal to meet ELA and LAB on the grounds that the strike of 30 January is “political”: ‘It is foolish to say that the strike is political, all mobilizations have a political character’. He expressed his "indignation" at the 0.9% increase in pensions announced by the Spanish Government.
