The Pensioner Movement of Euskal Herria has called a demonstration from Plaza Moyua to the town hall. Most had a green suit with the main demands: “Minimum pension of €1,080” and “NO pension reductions”. For the pensioner movement, “it is necessary” to reach these figures, especially for women with a very low pension”.

They call on the governments of Vitoria and Pamplona to accept the minimum pension application quickly. “No matter who rules, pensions are defended,” they say, and “we will continue our demands, no matter what government is.” They are also calling for an increase on the basis of the CPI, with the repayment of the month of January they lost.

They indicate that from the following month they will work with other groups and movements of pensioners of the Spanish State at the end of the demonstration to present claims to the new government to be created.

Claims on public residences

In addition to pensions, they have claimed “quality public residences” and “other care models”. “Public residences cannot be touched” so as not to give public money to private pensions, and “no to the gender gap” have been the other slogans seen in the demonstration.
