There is a new form of protest against the reform of the pensions of the French Government: the marathon. At 12:00 hours they will depart from Hendaia to tour the cities of San Juan de Luz, Getaria, Bidar, Biarritz and Angelu to Baiona Station at 17:44. Among all the participants will perform 42 kilometers on foot, adding citizenship to each of the kilometers. The initiative is based on drivers mobilised against this bill.

Convened by the Interunion, the unions today have a new day of mobilisation against the reform sought by the French Government. The protest began on 5 December and is the eighth day of protest and strike held by opponents of reform.
The proposal for a law was presented to the Council of Ministers on 24 January, turning a blind eye to the citizen’s discrepancy. The text has come to the European Parliament this week, where it has taken over the government. Opponents of reform are, however, calling for determination to remain mobilised.
