In the context of the general elections on 10 November, several citizens of Treviño wanted to denounce the political and administrative situation in which the enclave is located. The Treviñeses will have to vote in the elections next Saturday in Burgos, "we will not be able to vote for our political choice".

The residents of Treviño pointed out that "once again, the citizenship that is imposed on us against the will of the citizens will be revealed". To denounce this situation, several residents of Treviño have "activated the streetlights" and hung the parachutists on the spot. In his opinion, "on November 10, paratroopers who want to keep us in this situation and who listen to our demand: Treviño is Álava."
