- The information has been filtered by the International Consortium of Journalists (CCIV). It shows the secrets and fortunes of leaders and big world figures in offshore and in the United States. The list consists of 35 former heads of state and former heads of state, 330 officials, businessmen, artists and sportsmen, among others.
More than 600 journalists, 150 media journalists and 117 from around the world have participated in the International Consortium of Journalists. Almost 12 million documents have been leaked by the organisation. The Pandora’s Papers we met in 2016 indicate that the Panama Papers are bigger and more global than the iconic.
The list includes, inter alia, the political elites that have carried out legal and illegal uses. For example, the king of Jordan, Chile, Ecuador, the Dominican Republic, Paraguay, Ukraine and the presidents of Kenya; the Czech Prime Minister and the former British Prime Minister, Tony Blair.
There are also artists on the list: Julio Iglesias, Shakira, Claudia Schiffer, Ringo Starr, Elton John. Also athletes: the best known name is football coach Pep Guardiola.
International political journalist Mikel Aramendi spoke in Euskadi Irratia and pointed out that this last leak also indicates that taxes are paid by citizens and that it is systematic that those who have the most income can commit tax fraud or use fireworks.
