On the eve of the beginning of Aste Nagusia bilbain, on Friday, a crowd was concentrated in the streets of the Biscayan capital to denounce the Israeli genocide and the Palestinian resistance. Bilboko Konpartsak also supported and participated in Aste Nagusia, under the slogan Israel borroka, which departed from the Elliptical Square and ended in the festive enclosure of the Arriaga Square. The demonstrators expressed the need to politicise the holiday environment of Aste Nagusia in Bilbao and show their solidarity with the Palestinian people. "Every moment is good at seeing a worthy and courageous people still facing genocide," they said in the joint statement of the organization. What's more, they called "colonial savagery," and they said. "Here is a genocidal entity and a people fighting for their freedom; therefore, one cannot in any way equate the oppressor and the oppressed," he added.

The following day, in Donostia-San Sebastian, on a Saturday, thousands more people gathered at the demonstration that departed from the Boulevard and toured the Old Part of San Sebastian. Among the shouts, they pointed out that what is happening in Palestine is not a war, but a genocide. And that the West is complicit in it. In this respect, the demonstrators stated that Israel must be boycotted, which is still on the bench. In the fight, according to Irutxuloko journalist Hitza Xalba Ramírez, two tasks were highlighted: To express “all support for the Palestinian people and their right to unequalled resistance”; and “to point out and fight the collaborators and accomplices” of Israel. Among others, CAF, M. Companies like Torres and Carrefour and Governments of Spain and France.

According to Irutxuloko Hitza, three events that occurred in the last weeks in San Sebastian were cited: The participation of the Israeli team in the San Sebastian Classic, the forcible withdrawal of a cartel in favour of Palestine in the Bar Marruma and the withdrawal of signs and banners in the streets in favour of Palestine and against Israel.

The Irutxuloko Hitza association has made a photo gallery of the Donostia-San Sebastian demonstration, and Ecuador Etxea has collected images from Bilbao.
