The Solidarity with Palestine platform has called for a demonstration for this Friday in the Plaza de la Constitución. Following the mobilizations that have taken place both in the capitals of Euskal Herria and in other towns and neighborhoods, the platform has stressed that it is the turn of Bilbao. The demonstration will start at 19:00 hours from Elliptical Square, under the motto Israel borroka in Aste Nagusia bilbaína.

“The festivities are yet another space to socialize the different demands,” warned members of the platform Solidarity with Palestine, Innmaculada Gracia and Josu Lagos. They consider it “essential” to continue mobilizing in the streets: "To denounce the genocide against the Palestinian people, to denounce its accomplices and to show our solidarity with the Palestinian resistance." To this end, they have given the Comparsas de Bilbao various means to continue their demands: flags, stickers, songs that make the struggle of the Palestinian people visible...

They denounce the "repression and criminalization" suffered by the solidarity movement with Palestine both in the Basque Country and in the rest of the world. On 17, 20 and 23 August flags, t-shirts and postcards will be put on sale at the Zamudio Gate, from 12:00 to 14:30 hours. In addition, solidary huts will be installed in several txosnas.

The Aste Nagusia of Bilbao will not accept machic, racist or LGBTBIphobic attitudes

In the public toilets, stickers with emergency phones will be installed one more year. In addition, in the txosnas there will also be focus and support groups to help in case of aggression. The Police will offer a service of care and advice 24 hours a day, which will last for nine days.

Bilboko Konpartsak has updated the protocol against aggressions along with trade and hospitality associations, according to EiTB. The members of the comparsas have made it clear that they want "festivities free from aggression" and have remembered that the txosnas will be "safe haven" for everyone who suffers "any kind of aggression".
