The three Tubacex strikers arrested by the Ertzaintza on 23 February will make a statement on 11 May in the Amurrio courts. Strikers are accused of public disorder and attack on authority. Aiaraldea.eus has reported that the Tubacex trade unions have called a protest rally before the Amurrio court in Vitoria-Gasteiz.

On 23 February, incidents were recorded at the entrance of the Tubacex plant in Llodio. The workers sat in front of the steering bus and the ertzaines used pores and foam, which were placed on the public road. Several workers were injured. The Ertzaintza arrested two strikers in the morning and the third in the afternoon in Vitoria-Gasteiz.

The demands are moved to the mountain

On Thursday, several Tubacex workers have climbed to eight mountains of Llodio and Amurrio, according to the Department of Security. The event started at 08:00 a.m. in the Town Hall Square. From Amurrio they have risen to the summits of Burubio, Babio, Garate and Aspaltza. Laudio, on the other hand, had as a goal Larra, Goikogane, Pagolar and Elorritxugane. For its part, another group of strikers has moved to Bilbao to support the demands of the workers of Tubing Reunidos and Eaton.
