On May 5, the news has spread that Osakidetza's Chief of Health Emergencies, Jon Sánchez Ibarluzea, has broken the lockdown in the second residence in Cantabria. The news has caused discomfort among the opposition parties of the Basque Government, and the pp has called for the resignation of the training. The ELA and LAB unions have also announced that they will be calling for resignation if it is shown that Sánchez broke the lockdown in the Caribbean country.
In a statement sent to the media on the night of 5 May by the Basque Government, Sánchez Ibarluzea explained that he had resigned and that he had been accepted by the Executive.
Two neighbours of Castro Urdiales reported to the Local Police that they heard noises from Sánchez Ibarluzea's home and were surprised by the officers on April 21 when they knocked at the door. On 5 May the local police sent the complaint to the Spanish Government’s delegation in Cantabria, which will decide whether Sánchez Ibarluzea is about to pay the fine.
In this news we can read how Castro was captured in the second home of Urdiales and what argument he used for Sánchez Ibarluzea to be there.
