Osakidetza allocates EUR 220 million to former PNV companies between 2019 and 2022

Osakidetza has allocated EUR 220 million to PNV related companies between 2019 and 2022. In response to the question asked by EH Bildu on 18 January, Health Advisor Gotzone Sagardui has reported on the private companies with which Osakidetza is related.

Increased financial envelope in Gipuzkoa

Gipuzkoa is the territory in which most economic movements have taken place. First, he donated 71 million euros to the private clinic of Asunción de Tolosa for "Specialized care for patients in Tolosaldea". Currently the hospital is run by the company Inviza. The director was Rafael Cerdan, former Health Advisor of the Basque Government, and Agustín Agirre, current manager of OSI Donostialdea.

Quisonsalud has received EUR 39.3 million from Osakidetza. Currently, former Basque Government Health Advisor Gabriel Inclán leads the medical service of this company and the main shareholder is Frenesius. The latter has received EUR 13.8 million from Osakidetza. Frenesius is involved in a bribe of doctors and the husband of the coordinator of the Osakidetza Biological Diagnostic Network has now been appointed director of the company.

Matia Fundazioa has received 42.3 million in these three years. Mari Karmen Garmendia, a former spokesman for the Basque Government, is currently the president of the Basque Government.

In Araba and Bizkaia there are also links between the entrepreneurs of Osakidetza and the PNV. The Vizcaya Scanner Center and the Vizcaya Scanner Center have received 5.7 million. The director of these companies is Nicolás Guerra, former director of the public hospital Basurto and Santa Marina. The war left Osakidetza to head the IMQ hospitals and Jon Darpon took office.

Igurco, for its part, is a company of the IMQ group that received €2.7 million from Osakidetza between 2019 and 2022. At that time the director of the operations was Iñaki Isasi, the former head of the Basque Government and the Provincial Council of Bizkaia.

Former Health Advisor Jon Azua and Jon Darpón, former Health Advisor Fátima Ansotegi, and former Quality Deputy Director of Osakidetza, Mayte Vacigvc, are now part of the management of the private enterprise group Keralty. In addition, former Health Advisor Guillermo López is currently head of the IMQ.

Trans-Health Enterprises

In addition to health-related companies, they have also received money from Osakidetza companies that offer other services, many of them companies from former PNV members. Josu Olazaran, former member of the Bizkaia General Boards and former councillor of Sestao, currently owner of the cleaning company Garbialdi and Integarl de Viglancia y Control. Osakidetza has allocated EUR 27.7 million to these companies.

The computer company Bilbomatica has achieved 8.1 million. Victor Malpartida is the director of Bilbomatica. Regarding transport, Ambulancias Maiz, the company that was linked to the former Director of Emergency of the Basque Government, Fernando Izagirre, received 3.3 million.
