Osakidetza crisis: Resignation of two other senior officials
- Osakidetza lives confused days. Last Friday, two senior officials of the OSI of the Hospital de Donostia were dismissed and the weekend saw the resignation of the deputy director of surgery of the Hospital Donostia, Adolfo Begiristain. Dr. Maite MartÃnez will also resign on Monday, according to Euskadi Irratia.

Adolfo Begiristain has strongly criticized the action of the Health Advisor of the Basque Government, Gotzone Sagardui. He has denounced that Sagardui makes decisions "for the benefit of friends" and not prioritizing clinical or professional criteria. He adds that the Department of Health manages "dictatorial" the public health network and makes decisions according to the counselor's "whims".
