Aimed at associations throughout the Basque Country, Orkli's support programme assumes "collaborative initiatives, ideas emancipated from the semen of the illusion, projects enriched with the support of its members...".
The Ordizia cooperative will distribute EUR 50,000 from the IPDK Public Interest Cooperative Subsidy Fund, known as Orklidea. It is a question of supporting "community initiatives" and, in collaboration, being part of the process of transforming Basque society.
In particular, it will award projects of two categories according to their size: EUR 35,000 for the first-class winner and EUR 15,000 for the second-class winner.
The projects must be related to the bases for obtaining these funds: innovation, equal opportunities for people, Euskera, education in values, care, environment, active ageing, intergenerational transmission, etc. The deadline for submitting projects will be in June until August.
After the Orklik projects have been analysed, the prize shall be decided: "Anyway, we would like to go further and try to take the step to be part of the project," they explain in a press release.
