Passengers are very tired, had four days off, according to Humanitarian Marine Rescue, which is part of the Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in a statement. They originate from Egypt, except one from the Gambia.

“All people are already safe, thanks to the rapid action of the group,” the NGO reported. They call on the Government of Malta to allow them to dock. Precisely, the NGO has denounced that many of the rescued persons are transferred by coastguards to unsafe ports and has underlined that the ports of Italy and Malta are the only ones that are safe.
