Angry opposition: it costs Sagardu not to answer questions
  • The Health Advisor has appeared with a very closed script in Parliament to give more details on the situation at Donostia Hospital, but has avoided all questions. All opposition parties have consistently denounced this attitude as shameful and serious, and also suggested that there are no problems according to their speech.

"On Friday, she gave no explanations," he reminded Rebeka Ubera, EH Bildu parliamentarian, who had not yet spoken Gotzone Sagardui. However, Ubera had very little value for his concertation, and Sagardui was angry: "What trust do we have to give them if they are not able to listen and respond to our criticisms? They welcome us with contempt." Along the same path, Laura Garrido of the PP said that not receiving a response is "frustrating"; Elkarrekin Podemos, IU, said that it is "exhausting" and added that the issue goes beyond Donostia. However, according to the two parties supporting the government, Sagardui has carried out a "transparency and communication exercise" before all parties in the House.

Finally, in the fourth quote and wrinkling the front, Garrido, raising the tone of voice, has been told: "Listen, I think you should bear in mind that, for the second time in a row, the four opposition parties are telling you that you do not answer our questions. You're running away, you walk from us and it's very serious, this makes fire even stronger."

The Health Advisor of the Basque Government, Gotzone Sagardui, wanted to close the lawsuit by saying that the dialogue between the two parties is "oriented". It is known that the management team of the Donostia Hospital was dismissed because they did not share the same vision, but the reasons have not even been revealed. One of the few he has pointed out is that medicine is undergoing a great scientific evolution ("In a short time many things will change: more personalized treatments and therapies...), changes that will have to be combined with the lack of personnel. Thus, he acknowledges that Osakidetza has "great challenges" and that the public health service "is small in some issues" demanded by service heads. However, Sagardui has rejected any restriction and emptying of the service, and "in view of the impact of opinion" has requested tranquility: "The talks have started and they have to go their way." That said, Sagardui closes the conflict folder.

Urkullu: "Internal communication needs to be improved, there are no restrictions"

Lehendakari IƱigo Urkullu has pointed out that the Department of Health and the Government must do "self-criticism" three weeks after the conflict broke out at Donostia Hospital. For the first time he has used the word "self-criticism" in this interview given to EiTB; it has been more than twenty days since the direction of San Sebastian became naked: two senior managers were removed by Osakidetza and three resignations followed, with one member in the direction. The "restructuring" movements were quickly carried out by Health Advisor Gotzone Sagardui, who established in the head a person accused of persecution that has been justified in the past.

In particular, the senior management of Osakidetza, the new management team at Donostia Hospital and a delegation of heads of service met for four hours in the morning. On Tuesday, all workers will be informed of what was said and a similar meeting is planned on Christmas holidays.
