Symbolizing the role of the executive body of AIREF (Independent Tax Liability Authority), the works of the High-Speed Train are symbolically "closed". To this end, they have recalled a study published a few days ago by AIREF to carry out the initiative. The study recommends that the Spanish Government question the construction of the remaining sections of the APR.
That is why the initiative has been developed in the area of works of the Marcilla viaduct, one kilometre long. This area over the Aragon River is legally protected for its high ecological interest. Thus, TAV opponents have ordered the closure and sealing of the works. Later, the perforators that are performing the anchorage work of the bridge supports have been sealed, as well as several machines and trucks. There is also the sealing of lorries, which have been cut off from traffic. Panels, signals, machinery and other infrastructures have placed adhesives that indicate the closure of the works.
