Two weeks ago, in the parliament, the current president, Chivite, confirmed that progress is being made in the construction of the TAV because Navarre has an essential investment for its development. So far nothing new, the eternal propaganda and lies repeated by the presidents of the forals over the last 25 years.
President Sanz signed with Minister Blanco an agreement for the construction of the TAV which was not met either in terms of deadlines or in terms of objectives, and the Navarre railway continued with the haemorrhage of services and workers, with cuts and privatisations. President Barcina wanted to continue with the design of the train of construction companies and banks linked to irregularities in the illegal financing of political parties, but slow, very slow.
And President Barkos came to the government of "change" and, with the support of the Government of Mariano Rajoy, the works of the TAV accelerated more than in the last 20 years. And this was in force without an agreement signed by Corellana and Pepin. That wasn't a change, that was to trick everyone. And for two years, the leader of our community, Chivite cintruenigoarra, in a coalition government similar to that of the president of the State Government, has been moving forward with the imposition of the TAV.

If the train is really so good, why have one from Corella and another from Cintruénigo done nothing to reopen the Castec-Soria line? Why have they not taken such a measure to benefit the peoples and citizens who are born and live? Why not, in these 25 years, have any of the four foreign presidents promoted and endorsed a convention for the creation, maintenance and improvement of the Navarro railway service? Why have they done nothing to improve the under-utilised route used today for the transport of people and goods?
The Navarran presidents who have supported, support and will continue to support the TAV have not submitted in the last 25 years any report, document or study demonstrating the need to build this infrastructure.
The courts of auditors in Spain and Europe, the studies of different scientists and university professors, the railways defence platforms such as public and social transport, some trade unions, environmental groups and the Subai Public and Social Train Alternative have demonstrated in Navarra that what we need the citizens, the economic activities, the environment and the rural environment is to take advantage and improve the current railway infrastructure, without building new stations for the TAV in Pamplona.
Despite the fact that the climate crisis, energy and minerals, the serious effects on public health and the environment and the risk of collapsing our current consumption model, the heads of government remain true ecologically. These eco-ideas represent and defend only the interests of companies and cartels, wasting public resources and bringing down the care, education, health and social services systems so necessary for life.
