The Government of Navarre strongly denounces the appearance of “fascist paintings of the extreme right” in the office of the General Directorate of Migration Policies in the center of Pamplona on Monday morning. The Office provides the Advisory Service on Aliens, the Service for Combating Racism and Xenophobia and the Basic Information and Guidance Service on Migration.

The incident has been reported to the Provincial Council by the Government of Navarre, according to a statement released on Monday. In the same note, the third Vice President and Councillor for Housing, Youth and Migration Policies, Begoña Alfaro, said that the perpetrators of the attack must be “clear” that the government will not look the other way “in the face of the fascist and ultralight offensive” and will not tolerate any more actions that are “framed in the framework of an international hate campaign.”

The three services offered by the Government of Navarre serve thousands of people throughout the year: The Immigration Advisory Service is responsible for providing migrants with bureaucratic instructions on how to regularize their legal situation, the Service for Attention to Combat Racism and Xenophobia is responsible for denouncing actions such as yesterday morning, and the Basic Information and Guidance Service on Migration is responsible for transmitting the offers of the Government of Navarre and other institutions and organizations in the field of migration.
