On 16 November the Government of Navarra and representatives of the hospitality industry, among others, met. The Government of Navarra reported at a meeting in which the Department of Health announced its intention to make the opening of the terraces of the hotel establishments more flexible from 26 November "provided that the evolution of the pandemic allows it".

EUR 20 million in hospitality support

The Government of Navarre has announced to the representatives of the hospitality industry that it has raised to 20 million of the €10 million initially announced in hospitality subsidies. The new financial support line announced will be for "accommodation, food and beverage services, travel agencies and tourist activities, night entertainment and beverage distributors".

Persons who fulfil the requirements laid down in the regulatory bases may access the aid up to a maximum of EUR 25,000. Those who prove a reduction in turnover of at least 20% compared to the first quarters of 2020 and 2019 in VAT returns will be eligible for this aid.
