The impact of the pandemic has begun to be felt in some sectors and uncontracted work has fallen by 60 per cent. However, the situation will get worse, reaching 76%, and the same is true for full-time sectors. Jobs around the world will be reduced, but some countries will be hardest hit than others, and 81 per cent of uncontracted workers in Africa and America are expected to remain unemployed.

The International Labour Organization (ILO) has indicated that most uncontracted workers reside in countries with strict confinement and that their work sector is in risk groups such as street sales.

As regards working hours, it forecasts a fall of 10.5% over 48 hours of the working week, which means 305 million full-time jobs.
