On the occasion of the flight of the king emeritus of Spain, mobilizations against the monarchy have been carried out in the capitals of Hegoalde under the motto “Out Bourbons, out of the monarchy”. The Spanish Republican flags and the Ikurriñas have travelled the centres of Donostia-San Sebastián, Bilbao, Vitoria-Gasteiz and Iruñea/Pamplona.

The ELA and LAB unions have joined the protests, as have EH Bildu, Ezker Anitza-IU and Podemos, who have called for mobilisation.
