Askapena, Ernai, Sortu and Algortatik Hankak have organised a popular march to denounce the arrival of the Basque fishing vessel in Puerto Rico. It will be on Saturday, March 23, at 10:30 in the morning, from the casino of Algorta to the Marina. The paper explains that "the boat that visits us after manoeuvring in the Persian Gulf wants to show us who sends us here and to make clear the consequences that can be lifted against power".

Following the march, the ONGI platform Etorri Errefuxiatuak and the dynamic Gerra Hemen Hasi da have called a rally to report the death of two people. It will be from 11:00 hours in the Getxo Pier. They say that "this visit is unacceptable and we express our strongest rejection of this display of war and of the manufacture and trade of arms being made to enrich themselves with the wars of remote countries."

The warship Juan Carlos I is the largest built in the Spanish state. Its total weight is 27,000 tons and its length is 232 meters. They transport one SH-3D helicopter and five AV-8B Harrier aircraft, plus ships, pilots, seafarers and other personnel. On Friday, March 22, he will arrive at Getxo. The Board of Spokespersons of the City Council has published a note showing its disagreement with the agreement. The PNV, the PSE-EE, EH Bildu and Guk Getxo voted in favour, while Citizens/Citizens and the PP voted against.
