We have not yet measured, understood and valued the civil disarmament which Mr Bakegile promoted from Ipar Euskal Herria. On the one hand, to the peace processes taking place in the world, which have offered the participation of civil society and a transformative scheme. And, on the other hand, the contribution to the Basque Country.
It was a broad exercise of understanding and consensus, which has led us to initiatives of disobedience to elected officials, institutions or citizens of Ipar Euskal Herria. Beyond the debates of legality, to put on the table the legitimacy of the claim for a solution, to the point of changing the position of the States. A collective commitment of this kind cannot be made. No, a high-level commitment cannot be decreed, it is a commitment that materializes, is built. It is the result of an exercise that has led us to collective responsibility since the creation of trust. It has placed social activation at the centre of the development of the peace process.
That was Mixel's greatest dexterity. To correct the plurality, the synthesis between different positions and times, to bring to light the consensus and to situate the discrepancies in a permanent attitude of mutual understanding.
So that everyone can take their place, but above all, to put in the key to the construction of this collective our differences, concerns. And on that road, put the need of the collective above all else. Although it has been with its ups and downs, today, the need for the advancement of the peace process is on the agenda of the development of Ipar Euskal Herria. Constant activation and direct involvement of civil society has become a guarantee in this progress.
The method developed from disarmament, the articulation of all the spaces for open debate and dialogue, has allowed the creation of a unique and organized voice of Ipar Euskal Herria, which has allowed a direct dialogue to be opened towards Paris in the resolution of the case of political prisoners and exiles. And we will have to continue along that path.
After all, Mixel has brought to the resolution of the Euskal Herria conflict a model he believed in the struggles he has led throughout his life.
Create a collective.
to uncover the legitimacy of this collective
And put the collective as a wall in front of Paris.
