In Etxealdia, the interlocutors have continued to contact via the internet, but after the summer, “comrades and comrades will return to the streets to chat every week and live together enriching experiences.” As they have pointed out, taking into account the times, “special attention will be paid to mutual care, taking the necessary security measures”.

Mintzakide signs up because they want to live in Basque; because they want to make new Basque friends, because they want to live new experiences in Basque, because they want to improve their Basque level, because they want to drive away the fear of speaking in Basque in public, and for many other reasons. This course, in addition to face-to-face meetings, will also offer the possibility for Mintzakide groups to participate in the network.

As for their functioning, the participants meet in small groups and speak Basque one hour a week, on the walk, in the cafeteria, in the park... as they consider it appropriate. You can participate in two ways, practicing Euskera (traveler) and helping practice Euskera (travel partner). The only conditions to become an interlocutor are that you are able to communicate in Basque and that you are willing to meet one hour a week.
