It is the first major street mobilisation that has taken place since the last 6 February they called Whatsapp and took the tractors to the streets. They chose one of the classic routes of the demonstrations, left the Antoniuti Park, traveled the Army Avenue, Nafarroa Behera Avenue and Carlos III.etik to end in the Castle Square.

“Etšorkizuna. Begirunea. For our future. He said “respect” in the front sign banner. Other times it could be read in Spanish: “All together with the rural world of Navarre, if we do not give them food, who will?” or “Our demands, your health”. At the demonstration there were many families and there was talk of the future of the rural environment, giving priority to children and their game tractors.

In the document read at the end, the regional politicians were invited to take their demands and transfer them first to Madrid and then to Brussels. They also called for the need to live rural areas and small towns in general.

They were more precise with the demands that are being made these days: that they need less bureaucracy and that products are being made more expensive; that foreign projects are giving them unfair competition and calling for their entry to be banned. Or give them more stringent regulatory measures, like the ones here.

The organizations and unions UCAN, UAGN and EHNE doubted their adherence to the call and finally left in the hands of their affiliates the possibility of turning to the mobilization or not. The farmers' representatives met with representatives of the Government of Navarra on Friday and announced that if no agreement is reached on the demands they have put on the table, the tractors will return to the roads and the capital.
