The workers’ struggle forces the Michelin management to meet with workers’ representatives. In fact, the days of strike called have had a great follow-up and impact, on the last Monday, 12 June, with a 95% continuity.

Unlike the rest of the strike days, the other trade unions have adhered to the strike date convened by the trade unions ELA, LAB, ESK and CGT: CCOO, UGT, CSIF and CCM.

According to Arpa's number, if the company has not convened a meeting to negotiate the work pact, on 19 and 23 June they announced a joint strike at all Michelin workshops. Labour agreements are also being negotiated in Spain (workshops in Valladolid, Aranda de Duero and Almeria).

Request for recovery of the CPI

The main demand is to recover CPI and purchasing power. In addition, they have called for the reduction of working hours, the abolition of additional working hours, the reduction of temporality, the elimination of team building and the implementation of measures to protect health and improve the quality of life.
