Wilfrid Lupano has been the author of the script of this story, in which the designer Paul Cauuet has also participated. The editorial Dargaud has edited it; the editorial Astronave has translated it into Spanish and Catalan under the title El lobo en calzoncillos and Els Calçotets Del Llop.

Born in Baiona in 1978, Itoïz studied at the National School of Fine Arts in Toulouse. He has worked mainly in the field of child and youth illustration. The character of the wolf first appeared in the Les Vieux Fourneaux series, before becoming a hero of several children's comics starting in 2016. Poverty, social inclusion, equality, fears -- Le Loup's slipping albums deal with different social issues.

The winners of the Eisner Awards will be announced next July.
