The Centre for the Memory of Victims of Terrorism in Vitoria-Gasteiz will not remind the five workers killed on 3 March 1976 by the National Police. The president of the Spanish Government, Pedro Sánchez, said this at the meeting of the board of the Memorial Center for the Victims of Terrorism Foundation. The Mayor of Vitoria-Gasteiz, Gorka Uraran, proposed at the plenary session held last week in the Moncloa Palace that the building should be a space of recognition and remembrance for these people and their families, but the proposal has been rejected.

For its part, the Victims Association of 3 March has been very critical of the character of the memorial since all victims of state violence will not be counted in the center. "It is a project that excludes thousands of victims of state terrorism and that is not resolved by the inclusion of the victims of 3 March. We are the tip of the iceberg of the model of impunity," they have said in recent days.

On the other hand, the attitude and statements made by the City of Vitoria-Gasteiz in relation to the plenary of La Moncloa have provoked the anger of the Victims Association of March 3, remembering that "they are not merchandise from the communicative marketing of anyone".
