A young man dies in the protests in Marseille after receiving the police shot
  • A 27-year-old boy dies in Marseille from Saturday to Sunday in protests of Nahel's murder after hitting a Police rubber ball on his chest. The Public Prosecutor’s Office acknowledges that the young person has surely died of this and the investigation is open. On the other hand, the proceeds for the police who threw Nahel have raised EUR 800,000 more than the proceeds for the Nahel family, which has generated controversy.

The murder of Nahel has provoked many demonstrations, protests and riots in the French State these days to denounce police abuse and racism. The protests can be further heated, after learning that a second young man in Marseilles died on the weekend and the middle La Marsellaise showed on Tuesday that the police have started the investigation by receiving a Flash ball punch in the chest.

The Public Prosecutor’s Office says that the young man has surely been killed by the Police’s piloting and is unable to find out whether the young man was participating in the protests or just walking on the bike.

In addition to this death, the protests have left wounded and 3,500 detainees, the Government has mobilized 45,000 policemen and limited Internet access in some places.

Top-right revenue, over EUR 1 million

Jean Messiha, a far-right journalist, began a collection in favor of the agent who shot and killed Nahel, 17, under the slogan: “Protecting the Nanter police family, Florian M has done his job and is now paying a high price. Massively protect our police.” It has received over EUR 1 million in a week.

The collection started in Leetchi, of the Nahel family, has received €230,000, according to Monday's data.
