The first eviction occurred in August 2018 in the gaztetxe Marvels, located in the Casco Viejo de Pamplona. According to the Government of Navarre, the Rozalejo Palace apparently did not comply with the security measures established in the area. The young people started the repair work and, with the help of their lawyers, in November and December last year hired the technical architect Almudena Pérez de Diego to carry out a thorough inspection and assessment of the situation. According to his report, young people took steps to “reduce and eliminate” the risks. Thanks to community work, the cleaning and improvement of the facilities took place remarkably in the autumn. He didn't see the building in danger. “The state of the building was not alarming, at least in the medium term there was no risk.” The adapted rooms were, besides in good condition, “closed and properly marked”, which could not be used due to lack of safety.

Dismissal from 8 January

The Technical Architect requests a license for the inspection of the Palace, in order to assess the current situation. He has not been given permission at the moment, but in view of the images disseminated on the network, the members of the gaztetxe hope that he will not exceed the minimum security measures.
