The Sorionekuak dynamic to promote the Basque language in Navarre reported on the Bridges initiative in February and this Friday they presented their full day programme, reporting on the mobilisation of Pamplona in the afternoon.
During the appearance in the Kostarapea Park, it has been determined that the most significant bridges in Navarre will be occupied on May 10 and that many villages have already indicated their intention to participate, others such as: Aranguren, Baztan, Lesaka, Doneztebe, Leitza, Lekunberri, Ultama, Jauntsarats, Sakana, Oriental, Zubiri, Aribe, Erro, Zangozi, Tafalla, Larraga, Estella, Gares, Lodosa, Mendabia and Tudela. And they have taken advantage of the outbreak to call on more peoples to join the initiative: Let’s build bridges, build bridges, and build bridges.”
The initiatives of this day will be held under the heading of Open Doors to the Basque Language, because they believe that mutual meeting points are essential and that the Basque language is a bridge to the future. They also want to open doors for mutual understanding, advocacy and progress: “We want to open the doors to our language because Basque belongs to all Navarrese, we want to open the doors to our language, as well as to the rights of all citizens. He is from Navarre, and if he is from Navarre, he is from all Navarre.”
In the afternoon mobilisation, after receiving the welcome of the Clownillo Defex, the participants will leave from the Parque Kostarapea (Trinitarios-Tren Park) at 5:30 p.m. You will cross to the Portal Nuevo gate and make your way to the Old Town of Pamplona to enter the Takonera Park. There will be My Songs and Inflatables.
