Building "bridges of the future", they emphasize that "in these turbulent times" the pro-Basque voices must be heard aloud from now on: "It's time to give him the treatment, the place, that belongs to the Basque language."
The dynamic Sorionekuak yesterday, May 10, called for meetings in support of the Basque language throughout Navarre, using the bridge as a basic element to "look each other in the eye": "The bridges we need in these turbulent times. We are convinced that ours is a land of mutual understanding, mutual knowledge and mutual respect."
In 2023 the platform Sorionekuak was created, and in June of that year a mass party for the Basque language was held in Pamplona, under the slogan "Euskara, for all Navarrese". Following this first step, it is important to continue making the way on May 10: "Because we are not those who are content to look back, we are in favor of taking steps."
The call has been supported by several well-known personalities of the Basque Country, extending the call to all social and political actors willing to take this step with them: Stone lifters such as Iñaki Perurena, former footballer Oier Sanjurjo, bertsolari Erro Colina, musician Julen Goldarazena FlakoFonki and singer Zuriñe Hidalgo.
