Solidarity with Palestine said that while the Israeli delegation applauded the position of the people in those who visited Vitoria-Gasteiz on Tuesday, this is not enough. The pro-Palestinian movement explains how the Maccabi, Israel’s sports representative, has played an important role in campaigns for the Zionist army over the past decades.

The organization said that Vitoria-Gasteiz has shown a “committed attitude” in favor of the struggle of the Palestinian people, but that Solidarity with Palestine has demanded that both the public institutions of Vitoria-Gasteiz and Alava and Baskonia cancel the match that will be played on February 7.

The movement has declared that no act that normalizes genocide can be tolerated. They have been called to work with mobilization and organization to disrupt initiatives aimed at “selling the image of normality on a global scale.” Solidarity with Palestine adds that solidarity with the Palestinian people must lead to the organization of all relations with Israel in favor of the suspension.

The agent insists that it is necessary to continue mobilizing to stop the “Zionist barbarism”. This is the way the national demonstration has been organized on February 7, the day of the match.“No to the cleansing of the face of Israel: Maccabi Out” is the slogan under which the demonstration will start at 18:30 from the Civic Center Norte.
