Fourteen agents invite to climb the mountain peaks at noon on 31 December in "defense of the land"
- Fourteen member agents of Euskal Herria Activa have called on the summits of Araba, Gipuzkoa and Bizkaia to "maintain, protect and defend these spaces" against the "mega-projects" that energy companies want to carry out in them. On the last day of the year they have stated that "we seek to celebrate life" and have confirmed their intention to "continue fighting" in the new year.
Through this unified cartel, fourteen agents have released the mountain marches they want to make in late 2023 and early 2024. In addition, the call for the mountain march that each agent will perform in their surroundings will be opened.
"The mountains, following our reasonable habits, are grounds for celebration, for life and meeting" and "we need farmland in order to feed us". They denounce that "the economic model that leads us to the abyss is not going to bring us more lives, because we are being taken away." For the defense of natural spaces, "all the sensitive people of the territory" have been called.
