The French Minister of the Interior is launching the procedure for the illegalization of the Earth Uprisings
  • The French Interior Minister, Gérard Darmanin, has made public his decision following the massive protest on 25 March. The protesters suffered great repression, with 200 strikes, which are still in two coma on 30 March. The Earth Treasury has established the decision as part of the strategy to cover police "barbarism".

Darmanin informs Members on 28 March in the afternoon that the Earth Uprising has begun the process of dissolving the collective. In October, he called the citizens of the big abrugations "eco-terrorists," and now tries to outlaw their organization.

For the collective Earth Uprisings is a decision taken in order to cover the brutal police violence. "They want to stifle this federative political movement they have as an insult. After the brutal attack on Saturday to deny our bodies, of course, the political-judicial path," we can read in the published reading.

However, not being organised as associations, the dissolution procedure will be difficult. In addition, it is a coalition that brings together dozens of different groups, as Earth Uprising itself warns. The last published document asks the following question: "Or, in the current boom of authoritarianism, is the government's intention to end the opposition of environmentalists, peasants and unions? Both in the streets and in rural areas, she must face this and it seems that her political role is limited to the policies of her midwife".

However, it is possible to anticipate sequences and arrests of those who are part of that organization. At the bottom they are already in that: when they were hit at the Saturday demonstration, the police have entered the hospital and taken their pieces to be able to examine them without permission.

In January 3,000 different actors signed a text against the criminalisation of environmental struggles in which they already denounced the risk that the Earth Uprising could be considered an "eco-terrorism".

On 25 March 30,000 people gathered in the village of Sainte-Soline against the project of the gigantic stack projected in it. In front of them there were 3,200 police officers who beat 200 protesters, 40 grave and two are still in a coma today. The decision to dissolve a group of protesters has been taken to deal with the "violent radicals" that existed among the protesters.
