Today, the climate challenge is of great importance, because it affects the lives of future generations. For this reason, Lurramak has assumed the motto of Slow Food "Klima, bizia da" with the theme of 2019. We want to explain the positive effects that popular cultivation has on climate, food and health, and by acting in the place that brings it to light, we feed a broader view. Today, as climate change is one of the main concerns of society, we have the opportunity to meet prestigious experts on this issue.

Piero Sardo, president of the association Slow Food, and Valérie Masson Delmotte, co-president of the intergovernmental group on climate change IPCC, will be the salero and gazami of this edition. "Climate and biodiversity, at stake in our food?" With the title they will give us a talk, on Friday at 11 a.m. (translation assured to Basque).

These days, hundreds of volunteers work on the refurbishment works of the Irati room.

Climate change directly influences agriculture and crop models in the climate. On Saturday, at 3 pm, five farms in Euskal Herria will present their daily work in favor of climate. Direct sales, diversity of productions, autonomy, soil cultivation techniques, limitation of machining... What has been done in the past can serve as inspiration for other farms. Regardless of whether this talk is given in Basque and French, translation in both languages will be assured.

We want to generate reflections on the cultivation model, food sovereignty, the challenge of climate change. Children, young people, farmers and cooks of tomorrow and today, citizens, agents, we have quotes and proposals for each audience.

The organizers of Lurramaren present the 2019 fair to the press.

Each year a county has been invited to Lurramarat, this year the Navarros have been welcomed for three days. We've organized this year's hand-to-hand number with EHNE-Nafarroa and INTIA. The Navarros farmers sell at the fair the production of houses, in the area of the huts, you will see endless breeds of mares, cows and sheep, in the food and dinner on Friday the Navarre productions will be cooked and the Dantzaris and Navarros musicians will encourage the atmosphere. The public in the market always likes the incorporation of new productions and the exchange and improvement of mutual knowledge is enriching for farmers.

The Lurrama is a party for people and a gastonomy place ere.Hiru where during the day all the products sold in the accommodations, as well as themed meals and dinners are cooked with local and quality productions. Accommodation Arno, Beer bar, concerts, Lurrama is a party! Also come to a meeting between farmers and neighbors of Euskal Herria!
