The budget that is invested in the educational centers that separate boys and girls in the CAV is around 13 million euros.Los educational centers of Erain and Eskibel from Gipuzkoa, Gaztelueta, Munabe, Ayalde and Arangoya from Bizkaia, to which must be added the schools of Miravalles El Redaga and Irabia. Most of these centers are related to Opus Dei. The Government of Lakua spent a total of EUR 12.7 million in public expenditure blico.La on these centres during the 2018-19 academic year, funding for such centres has been much discussed since the Wert Act.

Some schools in the Basque Country that separate boys and girls use formulas to conceal the difference, at least from a legal point of view. This is the case of Miravalles-El Redín, which is the only school on paper, but in practice they are two centres with independent infrastructures that are not even in the same locality.
