Death of a worker of the company Sisteinge de Loiu

The occupational accident took place last Saturday at the company Derivatives del Fluor, located in the Cantabrian town of Onton. The 34-year-old suffered burns of various kinds due to an explosion in the area. He was taken to Cruces Hospital in Barakaldo (Bizkaia), where he died at the hospital.
The CCOO trade union, which has already announced the accident, has included the workers of the company Sisteinge of Loiu, who were working subcontracted in the company. It is a neighbour of Portugalete, who died at the time.
According to the LAB work-related accident report, 49 workers died this year in Euskal Herria, while another remains missing in the Zaldibar landfill.
